The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM Clan Timeline

January 1995 - September 1996 - News of an online world called Ultima Online reaches the eyes and ears of Lord Rakknarr. The Clan “Defenders of the Faith” was founded with Lord Moridin.

A secondary clan made up of Orcs was also founded by Lord Rakknarr as an offshoot called The Blagtoof WarTribe.

Clan website, structure and official creation is officially marked on September 25th 1996 which includes the first ever Guild Bounty System and the First Ever Enemy Kills Section.

September 25th, 1997 - Ultima Online releases. The Clan was officially created in game a few mere hours after the servers come up on the Chesapeake Server. Later that evening, the Clan relocates to the Catskills Server. We are the first guild created on the server.

Summer 1998 - The Clan changes it’s name to “The PhM” in homage to the upcoming The Phantom Menace movie in 1999. The name change proves fitting, as no one on the Catskills Server had any idea what was about to hit them.

Summer 1999 - The PhM moves it’s website to the uoguilds.com host.

October 2000 - The PhM’s Player Town (Shadar Logoth, later changed to Praag) is founded and then featured on UOStratics : The PhM City of Shadar Logoth.

December 2nd, 2000 - The PhM begins working with Flash Animation and releases several test cartoons and changes it’s name just to ‘The PhM’.

February 28th, 2001 - “Original Prankster” Flash Movie Releases. This movie is an answer to the constant flames on fan-made Catskills Development Boards that “Real RPers can’t be PvPers”. This is, of course, absurd. The Clan skyrockets to the top of notoriety through multiple attacks, betrayals and hunting down of the ’so-called’ RPers of Catskills. The PhM officially earns and coins the descriptive term ‘RP-PKers’ (Role-Playing Player Killers). The PhM is the first and only of it’s kind.

April 8th, 2001 - “When Worlds Collide” Flash Movie Releases. Thus begins the streak and new trend to use Flash Movies to both antagonize the PhM’s victims as well as brag about the accomplishments of the Clan. This trend catches on and The PhM is the official originator of “the PvP WebMovie”.

July 12th, 2001 - The Deadpool character catches on and grabs fame across the Catskills Server, so a Trailer to the first Deadpool PhM animated movie series is released.

2001 - 2003 - The PhM enjoys battle after battle, war after war, flame after flame cleansing the Catskills Server of it’s Elitist RP Nazi crowd all the while slaughtering the sad PKs that think RPers are easy pickings.

March 11th, 2002 - The PhM changes webhost after uoguilds.com decides to close down without a word and apparently without a trace. http://www.phmguild.com is the official new domain for the Clan.

January 2003 - The PhM enters into Shadowbane Beta and begins plans to make it’s mark as it did in UO under The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM Clan name.

March 25th, 2003 - Shadowbane Releases, The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM subs to a larger Guild based on Ice Island on the Carnage Server.

July 2003 - The PhM finishes it’s final plan, betrays every last guild on the server and takes part in the Baning of every Tree in the game world. The world is thrown into ruin and since there’s nothing left but to do all that crap again, The PhM leaves Shadowbane.

December 2003 - The PhM enters into the City of Heros Closed Beta and forms under The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM again.

March 18th, 2004 - The PhM enters the World of WarCraft Closed Beta and forms under the name ‘The Blagtoof WarTribe’. The first official PhM PvP FRAPS Movie is released a few days later. Thus begins a new trend and makes The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM originators yet again of the FRAPS PvP Movie. Yes, you can blame us for all of the great PvP FRAPS movies people have done and we’re sorry for all of the shitty ones people have done.

November 23, 2004 - World of WarCraft releases. The Blagtoof WarTribe forms on the Eonar Server and once again skyrockets faster than ever to the most well known, feared and most hated Guild on the entire server. Many FRAPS movies are released mocking the scrubs that try and combat the guild. Many guilds form and disband and people leave the server as a direct result of being unable to beat the Guild.

May 18, 2005 - WoW Wars : Revenge of Da Toof, the Star Wars Spoof is released. Again, the first of it’s kind a day before Revenge of the Sith is released. A slew of these kinds of movies pop up, but we’re the first to do it as always. Blizzard features the movie on their front page.

June 2006 - The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM officially walks away from World of WarCraft due to lack of any real challenges both in PvP and PvE. WOWWars mysteriously vanishes from Blizzard’s Movie Archive - might have something to do with the Clan protesting and declaring they do not want their name associated with such a shitty PvP System in an MMORPG.

November 25, 2006 - http://www.blagtoofwartribe.com domain is officially acquired.

‘Early’ 2007 - The Clan officially enters Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning Closed Beta and forms under the name The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM.

April 27, 2007 - The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM is Interviewed by Guild Cafe` as a World Class Guild : The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM - A World Class Guild. The Interview is one of the most top rated Guild Interviews on the site.

August 8, 2007 - The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM is officially selected by EAMythic to take part in their extremely limited Guild Beta Phase 1.

June 25th, 2008 - Word is let loose that the Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning Guild Beta is beginning, and The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM enters in full force. Despite the other flash in the pan, advert-spamming mass-recruiting nub guilds, the Clan’s reputation is still on top, still the most widely known and hated, and still the most recognizable force in MMORPG History.

September 14th, 2008 - The Blagoof WarTribe is the FIRST Destruction Guild created on our Server, thus stealing the biggest and most important ‘Server First’ from the asshats that put importance on such things.

December 2008 - The Blagtoof WarTribe is featured HEAVILY in Beckett’s Massively Online Gamer special W.A.R. Issue ( http://www.beckett.com/item/64456225/ ). We mentioned in the Editor’s Note, we wrote 13 out of the 20 Class Guides, 2 out of the 9 Leveling Guides, the “How to do Player vs. Player and not suck” guide, and finally a MASSIVE 3 page interview with me about The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM.

January 2009 - March 2009 - The Blagtoof WarTribe leave The Eternal WAAAGH! Alliance behind, walking away from the useless, clueless scrubs that held us back. We will never bother to ally again, as this finally proves the point that if you aren’t Blagtoof, you aren’t anything. Immediately following, The Blagtoof WarTribe leads and successfully defends the Inevitible City from constant daily Order zergs on Ostermark while the rest of the Destruction idiots on the server stand there, mouths gaping, clueless in how to actually PvP when it matters. Cooincidence? I think not. We are declared ‘The Everchosen’ of the server. Basically, the ones people need to look at and rally behind if they expect to actually win.

March 2009 -  Mythic shuts down the Ostermark Server due to the heavy Order : Destruction ratio imbalance (5:1 Order favor) and forces a merge to either the only RP Server left, or to a Core (ie. asshat) server. The Blagtoof WarTribe leaves the dying server and migrates to the only RP Server left for W.A.R. Immediately, we make our mark, pissing off everyone possible and slaughtering them hopelessly while the rest of the so-called guilds that talked so much shit from the transfer and destination server fade out into nothing or simply quit the game after getting steamrolled by us nightly.

April 2009 - After several attacks on Altdorf ending in Mythic crashing the instances as the only way to stop us, The Blagtoof WarTribe leads their Altdorf City Seige Instance to victory. The combined help of the other players of Destruction in their instances, along with the Blagtoof led instance of the city seige locks Altdorf for plundering and farming and knocks the city down to 2 stars, taking away all of the city dungeons until Order can rank it back up again. Looks like there’s no one to even remotely challenge us in W.A.R. either.

August 23rd, 2009 - The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM returns to WOW while remaining in W.A.R., and this time on a PvP server to get back to PKing the masses properly.

December 17th, 2009 - The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM finally leaves W.A.R. behind as Mythic Entertainment closes down the Phoenix Throne RP Server, forcing the few people left (ie. under 20,000 players, only 4 servers) to go to a Core Server (ie. asshat server). The guild reforms AGAIN on the Iron Rock Server, and then, the 2 remaining Blagtoof left in W.A.R. log off and cancel their subscription, walking away from the most historic and catastrophic failure in MMORPG History. Interestingly enough, at the same time, the Clan secures a stronger foothold in WOW, tackling all content we set eyes on, stomping all players we run across. Talk about being back with a vengeance.

2010 - A new Decade begins, and the Clan is unified stronger than we ever have been. The Blagtoof WarTribe / PhM will continue to pave the way and cut a bloody path through MMORPG History. We’ve done it all and we’ve done it all first. We are the undisputed nastiest, most brutal MMORPG fighting force in the history of MMORPGs and we were here before any of you and will outlast you all to boot. Let’s see where we can go from here.
