Welcome to the About Us section. Here we hope to clear up any and all questions and misconceptions one might have about our
humble guild. Think of it as a FAQ of sorts.
Also, check the Clan Ranks for Warhmmer : Age of Reckoning and
the Members Requirements Page
for further information on the type of members we desire in our guild.
What is the Guild Charter of The PhM?
In every world, the PhMs single goal is to open the Chaos Gate and bring forth their kin. They will use any means they have to in order to
complete their goal. The PhM has opened the Chaos Gate in every world it has inhabited thus far and doesn't show any signs of ever
failing in that mission. Chaos reigns supreme in every world, and the beings of this guild are drawn to it like a moth to the flame.
People claim there isn't Chaos in their land when face to face with this demonic group, but they don't realize the fact that if there
wasn't an element of Chaos in their world, then the PhM wouldn't be there. The PhM is open to alliances of sorts and rarely does it
seek to interact with beings that cannot help further its cause.
What is the PhM?
The PhM is a group of friends that game together in many games for many years. We all share the same interests and all of the members
know each other in real life. We have all gamed together for years in one form or another and with the surge of MMORPGs being released,
we have all come together to form our own, unique force.
Is the PhM a role-play guild?
Yes. Especially in the Blagtoof Tribe. While the role-play requirements are VERY lax in the PhM, role-play in Blagtoof is a must or
you simply cannot be a member. It's not elitism, it's preference. If you're that uncomforatble with it, you can always join the PhM.
Does the PhM PK (Player Kill)?
Yes. Death and murder is apart of MMORPG life. Most of the memberbase are skilled in PvPing and will not and do not ever hesitate to
murder someone if the situation arises. Just because we LIKE to role-play doesn't mean we can't kill someone. Just ask people that
hate us. *wink*
What is the role-play for the PhM?
The PhM in character role is very simple. We are creatures of Chaos. In every world we infest, we have one single purpose. To open
the Chaos Gate and allow our kin to come through and turn your world upside down. It is always our goal, it is always on our minds
and it is something we have done in every single world we have tainted so far. We do not care about worlds politics, we do not care
about YOUR goals and deals. We want to open the Gates and open them we will. No matter who we have to aid, no matter who we have to
torture or torment or convince. Our single purpose is to open the Gate. We stand as Chaos Undivided, which that in itself is unique
as the 4 Gods of Chaos never agree enough to back anyone with their powers. Lord Rakknarr has gathered the greatest Chaos Warriors
from their realm, of all the Gods, and has brought them together for a single, solitary cause..........The domination of Chaos.
Will the Tribe and the PhM ever fight one another?
Absolutely. The Blagtoof WarTribe and The PhM share a very huge dislike of each other stemming from a checkered past. Character separation is very
important. If you don't understand this, then you shouldn't be in an MMORPG.
But aren't most PhM members just Blagtoof Members too?
Absolutely. This is where the role-play comes in. Separate your characters. Blagtoof Tribes people dislike the PhM people due
to being used as fodder in the past for PhM Schemes. In short, the Blagtoofs consider the PhM to have egos they haven't earned
and the PhM consider the Blagtoofs as just a means to an end goal......THEIR end goal. They will fight on the same side if it is
mutually beneficial, but expect the truce to degrade extremely fast after the situation has resolved.
Is membership exclusive to just real life friends?
No. Anyone can join either guild or both guilds just by filling out the application on the menu. While it might take awhile to get in,
and you also would need a member to sponsor you...it's not impossible. Quite a few have joined and became real life friends throughout
their careers in the guild.
I'm ready! What else do I need to know?
That we expect members to carry themselves well. Yes we play games, but we don't want to ruin anyone elses time, just as we expect
people not to ruin ours. Yes we have and always will seek and destroy anyone who tries to bother us, but we aren't griefers.
We don't join games with the intent to make other people quit. Certain times during our game career people have decided
to push us and test our resolve. We don't stand for it. Leave us alone to do our thing and we will gladly leave you alone. This also
does not make us push-overs either. We want to play together and have our fun. We don't want to infringe on anyone, but people
seem to like to try to do that to us. Consider this a fair warning. If you push us, you'll be sorry. If you join us, you'll be
expected to fight for your people tooth and nail.
Also, follow the rules. There is a ranking system in each branch and it's expected to be followed and respected.
No one is promoted instantly and ranks are there for a reason. Not following the rules or going against something that is established by
your elders is simply punsihed. Expect at the very least, death, and at the very most exile and continuous death depending on your
crimes.
We expect you to at least remain in some character. Typing in complete words and sentences and trying your BEST to stay away from
'net-language' is the easiest way for you to role-play. You do not speak in 'thees' and 'thous'. That is a ridiculous
misconception created by complete morons that lack the capacity to do anything other than FPS games. Try your best, that's good
enough, but always respect your guildmates and other players. We don't expect anyone to RP perfect. Many people RP different ways,
find your nitch and run with it while respecting others ways. We're not going to tell you how to do it or that you're doing it WRONG.
We're not RP Nazis. We PK them. *wink*
Lastly, any questions, don't be afraid to ask a member. Post questions, contact members, anything. Ask away. And most of all, HAVE FUN.
If you're not having fun or you don't plan to have fun, you're not for this guild.
